MAY WEEK

Incorporated in 1955, the Broward County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. has emphasized scholastic achievement, educational opportunities, and encouragement of higher learning. May Week is a national program of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. that was created in 1920. A week in May is set aside for highlighting academic and professional achievement, emphasizing the importance of higher education in the community, especially for black women.

“In Pursuit of Excellence”, has remained the ongoing theme of our Annual Scholastic Awards Ceremony.
