Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

BROWARD COUNTY ALUMNAE CHAPTER

PRESIDENT’S WELCOME

The Broward County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. has proudly served the Broward County community from county line to county line and from the ocean to the Everglades, since December 10, 1955.  Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is an organization of college educated women committed to the constructive development of its members and to public service with a primary focus on the Black community.

I encourage you to stop by our website regularly for updates about our community programs, scholarship opportunities and fundraising activities, which are aligned with our National Five-Point Programmatic Thrust:

  • Economic Development
  • Educational Development
  • International Awareness & Involvement
  • Physical & Mental Health
  • Political Awareness & Involvement

As you take a virtual walk through our website and our social media pages, you will see that service is the heart of our sorority!

If you are a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and you do not have a chapter home, I encourage you to connect with us and come home to the sisterhood.  Our chapter meetings are held the first Thursday of each month, starting at 6:15pm, with the exception of the months of December, March and June, where meetings are held on Saturday morning.  Chapter meetings are held at the Kathleen C. Wright Life Development Center , affectionally referred to as “The Delta House”, located at 2250 NW 21st Avenue (inside Osswald Park), Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33311.

Thank you for visiting our website and we encourage each of you to continue supporting our efforts as we continue to provide impactful service in the Broward County community.

With gratitude,

Valerie R. Harley-Gardner
