Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

We are The Broward County Alumnae Chapter! A chapter of dynamic women who has proudly provided faithful service to Broward County for 64 years. As a sorority built on Christian principles, we desire to use our God-given talents to transform, uplift, and empower others. This is keeping with the traditions established by our 22 founders who sought to provide assistance to those in need. These courageous women laid the foundation for this amazing organization. Broward County Alumnae Chapter’s local initiatives are aligned with our National Five-Point Programmatic Thrust:

  • Economic Development
  • Educational Development
  • International Awareness &
  • Involvement
  • Physical & Mental Health
  • Political Awareness & Involvement

As you explore our website, you will see that we are women who are “called to serve”. To any member of our beloved sorority who does not have a home chapter, we encourage you to reconnect with the sisterhood. We invite you to find that connection with Broward County Alumnae Chapter. Our meetings are held at 6:15pm on the first Thursday of each month, except for Saturday morning meetings in December, March and June. All meetings are held at the Kathleen C. Wright Life Development Center, affectionately called “The Delta House”, 2250 NW 21st Avenue (Osswald Park) Ft. Lauderdale FL 33311.

Thank you again for visiting our website and we look forward to you supporting our efforts to positively impact the Broward County community.

In Faithful Service,
Tracy P. Barnswell, President
